Our sustainability plan includes our contribution to the health of the planet, the fight against climate change and the well-being of the people who inhabit it, measured against the common framework created by the UN in 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
MailTeck has signed up to the United Nations Global Compact, committing to exemplify the Ten Universal Principles of sustainability that guide the initiative.

We help to improve the quality of life of vulnerable groups. We collaborate with NGO corporate clients and donate our Christmas budgets to projects for children. We strongly condemn child exploitation and forced labor, as well as all forms of discrimination and inequality.
We respect all ILO Conventions and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. We also collaborate with special employment centers to achieve full employability and integration of people with special needs.

Our environmental objectives
Our contribution to these SDGs is directly related to our own environmental objectives, which are designed for practical implementation:
Efficiency
We work to optimize the consumption of paper, water, energy and chemicals, as well as the effective recycling of the waste generated.
Input
We design omnichannel communication services and processes for our clients, always taking into account the rational use of the resources used (inputs), the recyclability of the final product and its contribution to the circular economy.
Chain of custody
We recommend the use of certified paper (FSC® or PEFC) to promote the creation of sustainable forests.
Climate change
We work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and calculate our carbon footprint.
We prioritize the purchase of energy from renewable sources.
Minimization of packaging
Our Packaging Plan includes measures to reduce the weight of packaging placed on the market, as well as the use of recyclable materials whenever possible.
As product producers, we are part of the network for the collection and recycling of packaging waste.
Auxiliary materials
We work in the search and substitution of materials for others less harmful to the environment (plasticizers, inks, chemical products, solvents,…).
Supply chain management through our Ethics and Sustainability Code
We have drafted our Code of Ethics and Sustainability in line with the Sustainable Development Goals to which we want to contribute value. Our Code is directly applicable to all MailComms Group personnel, as well as to our partners. We will promote adherence to it and the adoption of the principles documented in it in a way that allows us to select the best partners, collaborate with them on sustainability, and establish alliances that are mutually beneficial. ECOVADIS This is a rating platform for assessing corporate social responsibility and sustainable purchasing by companies. A scoring and transparency system for buyers, which includes the world’s leading technology companies.
Carbon Footprint CO2 Calculated We have the certificate of the independent entity specialized in reliable measurements of carbon emissions. The objective is to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions into the atmosphere as much as possible. Our measurements are below the average for our sector, in some cases up to 50%.

ISO 14001 Environmental Management
Since 2015, the ISO 14001 certification accredits the implementation of our system that ensures sustainability in all our areas of activity and sets us lines to achieve more significant environmental goals.
This standard guides us in the evaluation of the environmental impacts of our raw materials (paper and cardboard of sustainable origin, less polluting inks, biodegradable plastics…), of our production processes and of the energy efficiency of our facilities. ISO 9001 Quality Management
The ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems standard is applied to all our areas of activity and in all the projects we implement. This certification accredits our way of working and guides us in the design and continuous improvement of an integrated quality system. FSC® Chain of Custody and PEFC
At MailComms we only work with certified paper and cardboard FSC Certificate No.: AEN-COC-00075 and PEFC Certificate No.: AEN-PEFC-COC-0247. These seals certify that both materials come from forests that are sustainably managed in terms of harvesting, reforestation and social and economic benefits for local communities. FSC® stands for Forest Stewardship Council and PEFC for Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification.

Carbon Footprint CO2 Calculated
We are certified by Aenor as an independent entity specialized in reliable carbon emission measurements.
The objective is to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to the atmosphere as much as possible, both in direct and indirect emissions. We are continuously working to improve the quality of our emissions inventory, both in Scope I and II, as well as in Scope III indirect emissions.
Zero Waste
Our waste management is focused on the revaluation of the waste we generate, promoting recycling and other forms of recovery. MailTecK has obtained the ZERO WASTE certificate from Aenor, which evidences the traceability management of waste to its final destination and recovery treatment, as a sign of our commitment to the circular economy.
