In the case of Mailteck & Customer Comms, its operation was simple and appealed to the playful participation of people who decided to cooperate. All of them were offered a connect-the-dots game updated to a digital version. Players only had to finish the exercise for Mailteck & Customer Comms to donate a toy for each completion. In the spirit of the idea there was also a place for nostalgia, to recall the Christmas illusion of each player and the fun of simple but effective games.
“Children’s play is a right recognized by Article 31 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. And it is an activity that goes far beyond spending pleasant moments: it helps children to develop, learn, grow and understand their emotions. All of these were more than enough reasons for us to join this Red Cross initiative”, said Javier Echebarría, CEO of Mailteck & Customer Comms. “The procedure we choose to collaborate, and facilitate participation, also has a meaning. Sometimes it is very easy to make a child smile if we all take the right steps to do so,” he concluded.
“Every year, thousands of children go without toys, but with your help, we can make sure that this year they can have them.” This is one of the reflections of Red Cross Youth that presided over the campaign for the Christmas period 2019-20. Mailteck & Customer Comms would like to thank all customers, suppliers and people close to the project for their participation in this initiative. They have brought new smiles during this Christmas period to 250 children living in severe poverty.
