
MailComms Group’s commitment to technology and AI has just taken another step forward with the incorporation of Alberto Angón Robles as the new CTO (Chief Technology Officer). With more than 25 years in the ICT sector, Alberto brings his experience in roles as CTO and CISO in various companies, his ability to lead teams, design technology strategies and manage complex projects in demanding environments. All this supported by a deep technical knowledge.
One of Alberto’s main functions at MailComms Group will be to coordinate the company’s technology stack to facilitate the efficient collaboration of the teams and their complete alignment with business needs. In addition, as CTO he will progressively drive the use of Artificial Intelligence in the organization. His goal will be to implement practical applications that consolidate the progress already achieved in the digital transformation of the company, generating a direct impact on the company’s customers.
To date, the new CTO has held positions of varying responsibility in consulting firms such as Accenture and DCOS, and in projects in the financial sector for clients such as ISBAN and Barclays Bank. In addition, during his professional career he has also explored the world of start-ups, with key roles in the creation of technology architectures.
In Alberto’s words: “My background has given me a transversal vision of the sector, combining innovation, strategy and execution, always based on collaboration between areas. I am confident that, based on this approach, I can contribute to strengthening MailComms Group’s position in the omnichannel communications market with legal value. In this new professional stage, I want to consolidate the company’s powerful technological offering and its efficiency, as well as adapt it to current and future challenges”.
In terms of education, Alberto is a technical engineer in Computer Management, has completed an MBA and a master’s degree in Information and Communications Security Engineering.
