The action took place over the Christmas period, and the procedure was simple: we contacted people close to the MailTecK & Customer Comms group to explain that, as in recent years, we were going to invest our gift budget in a charitable option. Our clients, on the other hand, only had to click a button to request that we make a donation on their behalf.
Save the Children’s “On Your Side” program was this year’s target. It contains several lines of action to minimize the difficulties experienced by the most disadvantaged Spanish families with the outbreak of the coronavirus. Education, the recipient of our Christmas campaign contributions, is one of them.
“It may be a truism to say that today’s children are the future of humanity, but it never hurts to remember it. We all have to work together, with the means at our disposal, to ensure that children have the opportunities they need to develop to their full potential and make plans for their lives, especially when things get difficult, reflects Javier Echebarria, CEO of MailTecK and Customer Comms, on the initiative. “I am extremely grateful to the people who have been willing, once again, to collaborate with us to make this possible,” he adds.
This is the fifth consecutive year that MailTecK and Customer Comms have replaced their Christmas gifts with donations to various NGOs. For the most part, these corporate social responsibility actions have sought to improve the well-being of excluded children and provide them with options for a hopeful future.
