In addition, this environmental catastrophe has left thousands of families in the most affected areas with nothing or in a very precarious situation. <\/p>\n<p><strong>This year, our Christmas campaign, for which we donate our budget for gifts, will be dedicated to the families of Valencia and will be developed through Aldeas Infantiles SOS.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As the NGO explains, all emergencies such as the one we have experienced in Spain go through several phases. <strong>The initial emergency is followed by a second, long and complex one, aimed at recovery and stabilization<\/strong>, which, in a later phase, will lead to normality. The families of Valencia are already in this second stage. <\/p>\n<p>For this reason, <strong>SOS Children&#8217;s Villages has designed an accompaniment program<\/strong> that includes different types of support to cover basic needs. At all times, <strong>the organization will pay special attention to the very complicated reality of the children<\/strong>living in the devastated areas, especially those who were already vulnerable before the hurricane. <\/p>\n<p>Our contribution, with the collaboration of our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders, will be focused on this project, which will pivot on actions centered on these aspects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Psychological support:<\/strong> this catastrophe can lead to mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression, and aggravate some previous ones.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kits of basic materials and direct economic aid:<\/strong> these will be delivered to families after analyzing the situation and needs of each case.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Support for administrative procedures:<\/strong> important for recovering documentation lost or destroyed by water or processing aid and subsidies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As every year, <strong>our Christmas campaign is based on the cooperation of our partners, who only have to click a button on an email.<\/strong> The rest of the operation, including the donation, is taken care of by MailComms Group.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row type=&#8221;grid&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1730737648559{padding-top: 10px !important;padding-bottom: 10px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column dp_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221; dp_animation=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Families in the areas affected by the DANA Valencia have seen their life projects paralyzed or truncated in a single day.
