{"id":25938,"date":"2024-04-11T12:29:13","date_gmt":"2024-04-11T10:29:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mailcommsgroup.com\/?p=25938"},"modified":"2024-04-15T13:02:39","modified_gmt":"2024-04-15T11:02:39","slug":"sonia-lasheras-will-be-the-new-ciso","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mailcommsgroup.com\/en\/blog\/sonia-lasheras-will-be-the-new-ciso\/","title":{"rendered":"Sonia Lasheras will be the new CISO of MailComms Group."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row type=&#8221;grid&#8221;][vc_column dp_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;25945&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;right&#8221; dp_animation=&#8221;&#8221; alt=&#8221;Marian Garc\u00eda Benito &#8211; Marketing Product Manager&#8221;][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;][vc_column_text dp_animation=&#8221;&#8221;]MailComms Group has appointed  <strong>Sonia Lasheras Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).<\/strong>  Sonia, who has been involved with our project since the beginning of the activity in 1994,  <strong>She will combine her new position with that of Director of Information Systems and Security and will also act as Data Protection Officer (DPO).  <\/strong>of the group.<\/p>\n<p>In an extremely technological environment, and one that is heavily influenced in regulatory terms by  <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/pulse\/aplicaci%C3%B3n-de-nis-y-dora-la-relevancia-los-prestadores-b3kge\/?originalSubdomain=es\">NIS2 and DORA directives<\/a><\/strong>  among others, Sonia Lasheras<strong>  will implement as CISO a 3D approach in which he will combine cybersecurity-related needs with business requirements and digitalization developments,<\/strong>  both our own and those of the companies with which we collaborate.<\/p>\n<p>As part of her new responsibilities, <strong>Sonia Lasheras will be in charge of planning the cybersecurity strategy for the MailComms Group<\/strong> and its member companies. In addition, it will <strong>continuously monitor compliance with digital security regulations<\/strong> and, as a provider group for the digital transition, <strong>will<\/strong> also <strong>lead the integration of measures to ensure reliability and security<\/strong> in our processes with customers.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row type=&#8221;grid&#8221;][vc_column dp_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text dp_animation=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I feel very fortunate to take on this new professional challenge in my career, which has now spanned 3 decades at MailComms Group.
