As an example, Xerox Baltoro equipment, the latest investments of Mailteck &amp; Custommer Comms, which are characterized by:\n<ul>\n<li>Almost 90 % of its weight is recyclable material.<\/li>\n<li>They consume less energy than the average of equivalent equipment.<\/li>\n<li>They take up less space than the average of equivalent equipment.<\/li>\n<li>They use &#8220;non-toxic&#8221; inks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Facilities: play a fundamental role in the set of factors that have an environmental impact. We have carried out improvement actions such as:\n<ul>\n<li>LED lighting in factories and offices.<\/li>\n<li>Use of presence sensors and time programmers for turning on and off lighting and air conditioning systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Installation of supply analyzers in different sections to measure and control electricity consumption, as well as to confirm the reduction in consumption once the improvements have been implemented.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2. &#8211; Our carbon footprint management according to Carbon Quota<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"Prrafodelista1\" style=\"margin-left: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;\">CarbonQuota, which is an independent industry organization that combines science, technology and analysis to make reliable measurements of carbon emissions, has conducted a comprehensive report of our carbon footprint in several areas, and this analysis is in itself a certification.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-11338 size-full\" style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\" src=\"https:\/\/mailcommsgroup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Carbon_Quota_Logo_250x250.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mailcommsgroup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Carbon_Quota_Logo_250x250.png 250w, https:\/\/mailcommsgroup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Carbon_Quota_Logo_250x250-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"Prrafodelista1\" style=\"margin-left: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;\">In 2020, MailTecK &amp; Customer Comms&#8217; emissions in its direct operations were reduced by 43% compared to the previous year, with notable decreases in vehicle fuel use, both company and employee fuel use, and also in electricity consumption. If we take into account only these three categories, the drop in CO2 emissions is 53 % (from 739.61 t in 2019 to 342.67 t in 2020, savings equivalent to that of 700 flights, round trip, between the Canary Islands and the Iberian Peninsula).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"Prrafodelista1\" style=\"margin-left: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;\">Carbon intensity ratios also provide interesting readings. They relate carbon emissions per FTE (full-time employee), square meters of buildings, turnover or purchase of raw materials. The reduction in all these indicators is significant, if we compare 2020 with 2019. The figures are below the industry average, in some cases up to 50% lower. CarbonQuota not only provides results in its reports but also guidelines for further improvement in reducing emissions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Prrafodelista1\" style=\"margin-left: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;\">We are sustainable and have developed a corporate plan to become more so.
